help pls

hi pals.thanks for ur usual support but i need ur help in solving the problem of un installing avast antivirus an a friends pc.the av program has stopped running and i have not been able to un install it.any corrective measure is well appreciated.
win xp svc pk 2 home edition
512 ram
intel [email protected]
sata HDD 80GB

Hi,

I would guess you've do the add/remove programs, and checked the program folder for an uninstall. You can always try reinstall the program then uninstall again. You could just disable all startup tasks and services with start/run/msconfig.

Try REVO Uninstaller to Uninstall any software from registry also. It is easily available on net free..
