HELP plz will my pc run this?????

i was wondering if my pc will be able to run grand theft auto 4 before buying it.

specs:
3.8ghz intel pentium 4 with hyper threading (single core)
3gb ram
chaintech nvidia geforce 6600le with 256 mb
160gb sata
xp pro service pack 3 64 bit

I got GTA 4 today, and I am very pleased.
FPS are low but it is very playable (not very buggy).
Make sure to download the patches I think those help a lot!

unfortunately, i dont think you'd be able to play gta 4. i think to get a decent framerate, you'd need a core 2 duo with maybe an 8600gt.

GTA IV probably won't even give u more than 5 fps if it even lets you play. The minimun graphics card you need is a 7900, where you only have a 6600. The game also heavily relies on quad cores, and I doubt a single core, although clocked high, will manage.
Sorry to say but I highly wouldn't recommend it on your computer, it'll waste money buying it. Sorry bud

You would have to run it in 640x480 with all the graphics options set at the lowest settings (or off) to even have a chance at playing the game at anything close to an acceptable. Also if your running an AV or your system isn't in top performing order your going to have a slow jerky playing game.
