HELP!!! Problem Running Some Programs

Whenever I run Microsoft Outlook or Encarta, i get a message saying that Windows is configuring it. Then, the message in the attachment shows up and I can't use the program. Please suggest what I should do...

I'm guessing that you are the IT department and general bottle washer too!

I've had several applications that seem to want to install (in my case) Microsoft Office every time they run. I've usually got round the problem by reinstalling the offending software.

You can't really remove and reinstall Outlook. Perhaps someone who uses it can advise on how to repair. Encarta should be easy to uninstall/reinstall.

When I try to uninstall Encarta, the same thing comes up and stops me from uninstalling it.

I only encounter this problem on Encarta and Outlook. If I use Outlook Express, it doesn't occur. I also get this problem when I try to install new Microsoft software.
