HELP! problems with my computer

I was wondering if anyone can help me out with this.... I have been having problems with my computer lately and it's really irritating. One of the problems is that my keyboard doesn't work everytime i start up my computer forcing me to uninstall and then reinstall the keyboard again. Another is my internet browser, what basically happens is if i go to another page it won't load up and all i get is a blank white page and the only way for me to fix that is to restart my computer, this is totally random, sometimes it happens in a couple of hours sometimes it happens in a matter of minutes!

I've tried scanning it for viruses but nothing comes up. I am using the most up to date bitdefender 2010 antivirus program.

I would look more into a hardware failure, is this a usb keyboard or a ps/2 connection? How old is this computer?

Have you tried to connect some other devices to that USB entrance such as simple USB stick?If yes,does it require you to reinstall that device after you restart your computer?
