Ok im an idiot and bought a vista pc for double the price instead of building one. This pc is great Amd dual core 3800+ 2gb ddr2 all media dual layer burner. bla bla bla we all know the story. Ok now the problem came with Vista. :( Had alot of audio and video driver issues on vista hp just kept blaming it on me. So i downgraded to xp. I managed to scrounge up the drivers for everything. All drivers are up to date. It worked great for awhile but now its starting to BSOD on startup, just flash the reboot, and nothing appears in the event viewer. I attempted to log the boot and nothing appears incorrect during boot. Tried reformating several times. Also tried factory reimaging with vista then formating to xp same error. I even attempted leaving a barebone os (xp lite) on there and it still BSOD. I am able to boot safe mode with networking, but I am unable to find the error in startup. Please help Ive been in this field all my life and never have i seen this.

Help?

I'm sorry, I'm unable to help you with your problem.

However, I'm in the same exact situation as you once were, and am in desperate need of your help.

I too bought the same model of computer with vista home premium, and have now downgraded to windows xp professional.

Now I'm without all drivers for my computer and can't do anything.

Is there anything you can do for me to get the drivers? A site, or personally send them? It would be greatly appreciated if you could provide me with a link to wherever you managed to get your drivers for the computer that work with XP.

Thanks. Have a nice day.
Once again, sorry I can't really help you with your problem.. haven't been there yet!

Download Memtest86, burn the .iso to a disk, and boot from it. Do a memory scan.

... Also another problem... were these "drivers" made for VISTA?
