ok well i hear the sound and everything in eveyrthing else i do but when i try to watch a youtube video it freezes on me and remains frozen i dont pause it and it acts like its paused then when its suspose to be making a sound its completely silent and when im in desktop mode i can hear sound fine like my instant messengers so i know its not the sound card thats the problem its just the videos i want to play online as a steam dont seem to be working right is it me or is it my video card thats the problem but the videos i have saved to computer seem to play fine or is there a major problem with youtube video streams right now or gametrailers.com streams?

i think youtube was having problems cuz the youtube videos work now but if it happens again i will try reinstalling adobe flash player
does it ask you to update it from time to time too cuz i think something like that was asking me to and i didnt so im unsure if i got the lattest version

Definitely could be the problem then. My flash player freezes firefox up whenever it needs to update, I have to update it manually to get it to work again.
