Help! Sound doesn't work on my second screen

Hi guys,

I have an audio problem with my second monitor.
As video output I use one of my display port connections. I use the adapter DP -> HDMI.

The video is transmitted well. But the sound don't play at all.
According to windows the television plays the sound. I have already tried a lot: I've updated the drivers, tried Realtek, tested all kinds of settings, searched the entire internet.
Unfortunately I could not find a solution.

My system configuration is:

Fujitsu CELSIUS R570
CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) x5550 2.66 GHz

graphic board: nvidia quadro fx 4800
Windows version: Windows 10 Pro

I don't know what else to do. Do any of you have a solution?

Check your sound settings for proper playback output.

I've already checked the setting. As described above, Windows shows a spike in playback, but you don't hear anything.

Maybe the adapter?

Changed the adapter with a cable. It still doesn't work.
Windows indicates that a sound is playing, but like before you can hear nothing
I totally despair right now.

Edit: I checked the cables and the adapter with a different setup. They working fine.
So there must be a problem with the software...
