Help. Spam from E-mail

I have received regular spams(advertisements) in my hotmail, and it doesn't do anything even I block the address. Since I think that webpage has a program to keep generating random e-mail address to send to my hotmail. Any solutions? it is really annoying.
 
just turn up your filtering, you'll never win by blocking IP's, they change their IP all the time, the only thing you can do is delete them and turn up your filtering
 
what do you mean by turn up my filtering? is it a program? please tell me more details how to do it lol.
 
the best advice is to get gmail, hotmail and many other free companies have terrible spam blocking features, whereas with gmail i have only ever recieved 1 spam email, and i have around 800 messages in my inbox

I agree with getting Gmail, it is my personal favorite, but I know how hard it is to change emails. If you live in the U.S., you should just open the e-mail and click "unsubscribe". By law, they have to stop sending you emails.
By the way, I think yahoo! has the best spam features. I sign up for all internet things that may send spam with my yahoo, and i still get less spam than gmail.
