Help - Stucked with the Windows Classic theme...

Hello everyone, Ive recently downloaded UXTheme Multi-Patcher (Neowin Edition) 4.0.exe wich disabled the themes service and got me stucked with that ugly Windows Classic theme and so I downloaded the UxTender patch for SP3. No changes : when I try to change to another theme here's what it says:
''An exception occured while trying to run ''C:WINDOWSsystem32shell32.dll, Control_RunDLL ''C:WINDOWSsystem32desk.cpl'',Display''

Help?
System informations : Windows XP Professional version 2002 with SP3
 
hi yes i understand because the same thing happened to me!
i have this program remover which cleans all the files and left overs of the current program.
or google: program remover
and then once downloaded - remove that program, then locate: c:\ program files\ and what ever its called \ then remove existing files.

it worked for me. but now im stayin with the original xp theme.
 
I would try re-patching, maybe with a different program (or manually)

I think a system repair could fix this too...

You could also try a system RESTORE to a date before you did this
