Well, he turns on the PC, and often nothing appears on the screen, but the coolers are on, the power and HDD working leds are on, the beep at the POST screen does never appear. What could be the problem?
He recently installed a new video card (ati radeon HD ? 3850 ... not sure about the number), and he has this trouble since then.
He tried unplugging two of the 3 CD-Rom drives, but no result.
His PC specs:
Processor: Intel P4 3 GHz
RAM: 1.5 GB
OS: Windows xp Pro SP2
Motherboard: Asus (don't know the model)
Power source: 450W
