Help using old computer to build new one

I have finished all my upgrades and just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone that helped. I couldn't have done it without this forum. My computer is so much faster and I have played Civ: Beyond Earth & Sims 4 both super quick, civ used to take about 5 mins of lag between each turn.

Total of £160 spent all in, below is my before and after:

Before:

Mobo: Asrock N68C-S UCC
RAM: 4GB DDR3
Processor: AMD Phenom II 1055t 6 core
PSU: Strixe-x 600W 80+ bronze
Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 4870
Wifi: 300Mbps PCI adaptor
HD: 500GB sata hard drive.

After:

Mobo: Asrock N68C-S UCC
RAM: Vengeance LP 8GB DDR3 1600mhz
Processor: AMD Phenom II 1055t 6 core
PSU: Strixe-x 600W 80+ bronze
Graphics: MSI GeForce GTX 570 Twin Frozr III
Wifi: removed as it is next to router so just using Ethernet
HD: 250GB Samsung EVO 850 SSD

Currently got all my files on my portable hard drive and just programs and games on my SSD. Plan to buy and install an internal HD when I get some more money. Also re-thermal pasted my CPU with Artic Silver 5. Thanks again to everyone for swaying me to upgrade my current PC, £160 spent is a massive saving over the PC I was going to buy for £500 and it is now a better spec as well.
