help w/motherboard

hello. i have a problem with the motherboard i have.it's a biostar motherboard and it takes has a stick of ddr333.and what happen was i reformatted the hd and iwent to seee if the sound work i put the headphones in and it sparked.and the blue screen of death came up.so i went to start the computer i don't hear the beep but the fans come on and the hd light is on in the front and the cpu fan come on can someone help me w/this or tell me what i should do.i tryed everything taking everything out and put things in one part at a time

This is what happened to a friend of mine. He was running a game and got a blue screen with error message for a couple of seconds. Then PC restarted but wouldn't come back.
Do you get anything on the screen?
