HELP w/ Wireless Network Connection

Novice needs help with wireless network connection.

Have a Laptop w/ a Broadcom 802.11g network adapter.
Turned on the computer just now and it did not connect to our home wireless automatically as it normally does; it was working fine the other day.

When I hit 'refresh network list' it does not see anything.
I've always received a strong signal from my router and able to pick-up one or two neighbors.
I've re-set the modem and re-booted the laptop.
I've also have a WIFI phone and it has no problem seeing and connection to my router (it is secured BTW)
I've also used PDAnet via my phone on the laptop and it works fine.

Problem seems to be the laptop is not able to see any wireless signal.

Home service provider is w. ATT and their all-in-one modem / router
(model 3800HGV-B)

I've gone into the wireless network window and into the advanced tab:
- Device status: This device is working properly
- Driver:
Broadcom
Date: 2/18/05
version: 3.100.64.1

Thoughts and assistance aprreciated.

Thanks,
Steve

Most computers today have a switch that can turn off the wireless to save power. It will either be a switch on the laptop or a fn key on the keyboard. That would most likely be the problem

Fixed

ding ding ding - we have a winner and I'm an idiot

Must have accidently hit the FN/wireless key the other day when I meant to hit hibernate.
Never use that function and never thought about it (obviously...)

Brian - thanks for the quick response.

Best,
Steve
