help w/wizard error

i try to setup my network, and i get this error, and i cant get into my network, or set up one
can anyone help?

check your event log for a more detailed description of the error.... also tell us what you did exactly.
 
how do i get to the event log?
i updated my computer to sp2 and tried to redo my network, but it gives me that error on this computer and another error message when, i click on show all workgroup computers saying to contact system/network admin to get acess...i'm the system admin and i dont know how to fix it
 
control panel... administrative tools event viewer...

check system and application if you cant find it.. .recreate the problem and then refresh the log... it should be at the top.
 
I have had this happen before. Make sure you enter the area code under the modem properties... Just try it..
