HELP-Want to know what I can run

I will be getting a new laptop in from HP soon,
and want to know what kind of games I can play on what settings.


HP Pavilion dv6t Quad Edition series
-windows 7 home premium 64-bit
-2nd generation Intel(R) Quad Core(TM) i7-2630QM (2.0 GHz, 6MB L3 Cache) w/Turbo Boost up to 2.9 GHz
-1GB GDDR5 Radeon(TM) HD 6770M Graphics [HDMI, VGA]
-6GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)

I'd like to know on games such as, CoD:MW2, Assassin's creed, Shogun2 Total war, and other games that are good indicators of what games I can play.

Lastly, I'm kinda scared for the 2.0 GHz processor, since most games I see are near 3.0GHz minimum, but then, I'm kind of a noob, but heard multiple cores means I can still run it very smoothly.

yeah, but it's not here, and won't be here until september...
But I want to know in advance, cause theres a sale going on, and I'd like to get some before the laptop comes in.
 
You won't need to worry about the quad core 2.0 ghz. You'll be fine. I'm not familiar with what the video card will run though. You may have to do some digging on the games.
