Help: windows software bug

Hey all

I got the error: "usb over current device" and fixed it by adjusting one of the USB ports. Now, when I start my PC, EVERYTHING is deleted and the system is "running on a fake windows copy"

Should I just buy a new windows software to fix this issue?

No, I bought it used, but he was a PC guy who build em, so I think it could be a copy (must be). Just weird that it deletes everything. Cant even connect to internet. Any suggestions?

Doesn't sound like he is a pc guy if he can't give you a machine that works with a Genuine OS. If I were you, I would have it checked out by someone and then install a new copy of windows
