Help!.........Wireless Network!

Hi,

I have a laptop and a desktop both with windows vista. Currently they both have Windows Vista and are linked to a belkin router wirelessly to go on the internet which works fine with both! What i want to know is how i can configure these two to file share between them both so i can have access from my laptop to all files on my desktop!? Anyone know a step by step instruction how to do this? I would be most grateful.

You should care about this part only if you already connected to your router

then if you want to share any folder just right click on it and click on sharing and security
mark share this folder on the network
now to access this folder form the other computer
just open Start\Run and write \\10.10.10.1
there you go

If you want to know the IP of a machine, open cmd and write ipconfig

Hi i wonder if anyone can help, i have recently purchased a computer off a friend for my room, it is windows xp home edition, 2004 i think. i have also got a wireless netgear usb wg111, this gets internet from my other computer, however when i plug in my wireless it does not read it, i go to device manager and it is in other devices with a question mark, the disc does not install it looks like its going to then cancels. i have updated drivers but still no luck, any idea?
