Help, wireless USB adapter isn't working!!!

Purchased it from Amazon, user has great reviews so I don't want to accuse anyone just yet. I've tried countless times, though. I downloaded the necessary drivers, nada. There is supposed to be a green LED flashing, I don't see any of it. I've checked in device manager, doesn't seem to show up. I'm completely lost. It is a Belkin Model: F9L1101V1. Any help would be appreciated. I really need a connection to my desktop.
 
I take it you've tried different USB ports?

I would go to device manager and click the scan for new hardware icon.


Also make sure the plug & play service is running in computer management.

Maybe try it on another computer, if it doesn't work on that it's DOA and you'll need to send it back!
