Help with adding another HD

I bought a 250 gig HD a couple years ago for my old system (recently bought a new computer) and I wanted to use it as a secondary for this computer. Do I need any software or anything in order to install it? I'm also unsure about how to wire it once inside the new case.

Is this drive a SATA or IDE drive? If sata all you need would be an open sata port and a sata power cable from the power supply. If IDE then you would need to make sure your motherboard has an IDE port and an available molex power connector from the power supply.

It is SATA
