Hi all,
I try to watch tv on my LG flat screen tv link to my computer. I hook up the tv to my laptop HDMI port. I try to connect the earphone output to may stereo set. But no audio come out from the earphone jack while I plug in the HDMI connection. Is there any way to work around that? The TV sound terrible compare to my stereo set.
Thanks.

Try connecting the stereo with the TV audio output. Mostly when you connect a TV with HDMI the computer actually transfers the audio+visual signals to the TV, so it works for me nicely.

Please note, your TV must support FULL HD.

If not support full HD, HDMI port can be use only for video data. No and for audio ...

Only full HD support both video and audio playback...

You may also be able to change the audio settings on your computer to change what the primary audio output is. You need to set the primary to the headphone jack since it is probably setting the audio to hdmi by default when you plug the cable in.

I don't think my tv has the RCA Jack audio output, I think it only have Optical Digital audio output which my Stereo system don't have or I don't even have the cable to connect it.

Never mind, just find the headphone mini output on the tv . So I can connected it to my stereo.

Thank you.
