Trying to stay cheap, but yet get good products!

This build is for school (going for Computer Network Systems)
Few games (my wife will play sims 2 like crazy on it)
Will also be for movies on my 40 inch tv 720p, will get blu-ray player for it soon.
Any suggestions on some items where I wont lose much performance or will gain.
Thanks

you do know that you have 2 different sets of ram, and 2 different processors up there, right?

I would suggest getting the quad core, and using the 4gb ram package
