Help with building a new gaming computer :)

I'd get a better PSU from one of these brands:

Corsair
Antec
OCZ
Thermaltake
Seasonic
PC Power & Cooling

something in the 500-650w range will be more than enough.

but i think you ought to have a better hard disk, a 7200RPM not 5900RPM. It will run faster and the price is not that different.

^ i agree. i have the hitachi thats $5 more and its a great drive. The samsung 7200 is also the same price including the free shipping as the one you linked and it seems to have a lot of good reviews.

Thanks for the input guys!

Questions:

What is the main difference in the builds? Like, what makes the 2nd build better? (im going to buy that one simply because you 3 guys said it was better haha)

2nd question:
Why did you put that ram over the ram i had picked in my original build? (not sure how to judge how good ram is)

Thanks so much for your help guys, im really clueless in building comps haha

The advantage is that Core i5 750 is faster processor than Phenom II

The RAM you picked is actually better and it cost the same

Also, Change the video card that Bodaggit23 suggested to this

Looks good to me, though many people on here say that the core i5 is better than that processor. It won't make a huge difference though...the one you have is fine, and I imagine that platform will have a longer life anyway.
