Help with building my own computer!!!!

Praeter, I'm not exactly getting what you'd like me to see. I don't see anything about PNY there. If you are just saying that brand names really don't matter..that's it's just all about the specs then cool. Thanks. But in alot of stuff I read it's all about how make sure you get one like Corsair or Kingston..something with a good rep.

So just to make sure I'm getting what you want me to get out of it...PNY is just as good as anything else?

Alright..So the way it sounds is stick with everything I have...Except add another 512 MB of RAM. That should run everything very well correct?

I've also just found out that in my crappy computer now I only have a 14 GB hard drive. lol

So at Staples on Monday there selling a 200 GB hard drive for 39.99. From what I hear that's a real good deal? So Ill add that too.
good deal

PSU..That's the Power Supply unit right? Well..instead of paying for a seperate PSU..what if I just bought a case with a better PSU?
doesn't ur case come with a 550W PSU? that is good
this is a decent case [for its price], it has a cheap PSU but i dont think that will be a problem for what you are doing

So long as you are comparing same class memory, yeah ...i.e. no point comparing high end memory to low end memory.

think this <http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820223009> would work well also
This is far superior and onlu for $2 more

UPDATE:--------
Well..It's been a few days, most of everything I have purchased and recieved.
Here is what I have....
1 GB Corsair DDR 400
K8N Neo4 NVIDIA nForce 4 MSI motherboard
Albatron GeForce 6600 256MB/128 bit video card
Maxtor 200GB 7200 RPM Hard Drive

I'm using my old ATX case, the sound card from the motherboard, the CD/DVD drives from my computer now and my version already purchased of Windows XP home edition

So yes, that leaves my CPU. Boyz Biz is where I purchased from but evidently they ran out of stock and had to re-imburse me. It was a hell of a deal to so that's a bit irritating. Now I'm just looking on EBAY because they go for much lower. So that's where I'm at and just wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped out.

Now complete!!!!

Got a 3200 +Venise 512 CPU for $140!!

Think I'm all set! Thank you for everyones help..It's been quite exciting actually building a computer. Alot more then I ever thought it'd be.
