Going to upgrade PSU to something bigger. My current one is a 375 Watt Dell (Model #KH624)

These are my connectors on my current PSU:

P1 - 24-pin ATX Motherboard Power
P2 - 4-pin Molex Power connector
P3 - 4-pin SATA standard power connector
P5 - 4-pin SATA standard power connector
P7 - 4-pin floppy connector
P8 - 4-pin Molex power connector
P9 - 4-pin Molex power connector
P10 - 4-pin Molex power connector
P11 - 4-pin Molex power connector
P12 - 6-pin PCI-E power connector

Will one of these work for me?

Uh oh... You have a Dell unit. Dell usually Monopolize their PSU by making them a special size.

First of all, check your PSU to see if there is any sticker that says that it's an ATX model.

If so then the listed PSU's can be used for your computer.

If not, you need to go and phone Dell.

Here is the sticker:

I don't see anything saying ATX, though every place I checked usually marketed this PSU as "24 Pin ATX 375 Watt DELL Power Supply".

I talked to the dudes at Dell (lol), they said that my power supply is an ATX type. But they said getting a different manufacturers PSU could damage my motherboard. Are they BSing me or is there something I should watch out for?

Thanks!

Odd how everyone jumps to Dell = bad. If people did their homework and knew what they were talking about rather than regurgitate (wrong) information they half-heard in passing from a friend of their brothers's ex-roommate's sisters first BF, they would know that except for certain types of niche-systems, Dell utilizes a lot of modular designs for their systems. The Dell-specific brand of parts from 12 years ago is hardly the Industry-interchangeable Dell of today. They are not 'monopolizing' anything. People want a product; they have the product people want; people give them money to obtain said product. End of story. Same goes for all the major Brands.

To the OP, I wouldn't call is BS so much as I would say they are practicing very good business/sales by trying to sell you a Dell PSU. If you have an ATX case, any ATX PSU will fit. Buy whatever you'd like:)
