In my PB-iSTART 2369, I am planning to install a Cold Cation Neon light system into my pc casing. I would just like to know how it will be set up, prices etc. Thanks
Not too sure on your location, but cold cathode kits can start at $15 and go up from there. You just tape the cathodes to the case and plug the power into a molex connection.
Is that the power cable that goes into the harddrive(s)/diskdrive(s)? If so how do I connect more as I donot have any spare... (Although there is a thinner Black plug space and a floppy spare....) otherwise, is it possible to attach it streight from the motherboard?
You can get a splitter cable like this:

And no, you would not be able to connect it directly to the motherboard.
How easy to come by are these? And money (GBP). I am only fourteen so I am not that experienced, sorry about the hassle :L
They're easily found and they're cheap. Not more than a few bucks.
Okay... Thanks, one more question... then I'll stop... how do you install Fan lights for my cpu??
Many thanks...
Purchase a fan with built in LED's.
Prices?? Plus do you need to alter the mercury stuff when doing it
What mercury stuff?
And they can start at $5 and go up from there.
The silver-y liquid stuff under the processor.
That's thermal paste (also known as thermal compound). And no, you don't. Not unless you remove the heatsink, which you don't really need to do unless you want to totally swap out the heatsink. Just replace the fan and use the original screws from the heatsink.
However, not all heatsinks can have the fan swapped. You may just need to buy a heatsink & fan with an LED.
My computer parts shop apparently do GOLD PLATED molex splitters but they're llike £12.99, also my fan model is a... well I don't know exactly, but what are the telltale signs that it can/cannot be chnged?![]()
