Hey People!
Long time, no post, but im back!(coz i really need your help!)
This is long so bare with me........
Ok, so im getting watercooling for my system, I plan to make a custom kit at http://www.coolercases.co.uk/wc_kit_builder.htm and finally have my PC running cool. BUT i have a problem.......I want to use Peltiers to cool my system down more (I'd love to have CPU around 10c) but this is where i get problems/get confused. At the web site you can buy waterblocks that are called Maze 4-1 meaning that you get everything you need to set up Peltier cooling for you GPU, but the CPU 4-1 does not come with the insulation and Peltier like the GPU block, only the block itself- SO does that mean i need a special block(the CPU 4-1) if i plan to have a peltier on my CPU later (when i can afford it) or can i just use the same waterblock i will already have.
Also, my PSU is good, so i think i could run 2 Peltiers from it, an 80w for GPU and around 230w for CPU, is that correct?
Another thing im confused about is the condensation......when i buy the Maze 4-1 GPU its all included and with instructions but id have to make my own for CPU and i dont want to be sprayin silicon all over my mobo ect!!!!-in case i mess something up.
Also, dont the Peltiers need time to cool down before the system gets hot?- i mean, when i switch it on.
Another question! (lol), the peltiers come with only 2 wires on them (no MOLEX), so can i just shove the wires into a molex plug and hook it into my PSU?
Oh, and, I have an ATI X800XT card,iv read that it fits the Maze 4 block but do i just unscrew the fan and somehow take off the heatsink?...seems a bit unsafe (i dont want to break it)so, ermmmm,,, reassure me
