Help with Corrupted Drivers

Someone I know is having problems with corrupted software drivers.

I am trying to find drivers for an Asus M2N68-LA motherboard for Windows Vista 32-bit but unable to find the website to download them from. I cannot use a driver disc because the DVD player driver is corrupted. Can anyone help me find the right software drivers?

Sounds like its an HP computer and would need to get the drivers from their website after finding out what model of Hp they have. Is that the only driver that is bad or is all of them bad? If its all of them perhaps the windows installation is corrupt and would need to reinstall windows again.

Thanks for the reply. It is a Compaq/Hewlett Packard Computer. I do believe that they have a partition on the hard drive that you can use to do a re-installation of the operating system.

I think I am going to back up all their important data and just do a re-installation. I will be easier than trying to look all over the Internet for drivers.

Thanks for the pointers Johnb35. I did a re-installation of the operating system and now there computer is working fine (minus all the re-installation of software we had to do). But the problem has been fixed now.
