I haven't played video games in a long long time and consequently I have not had DirectX on my computer for a long time nor followed what's going on with it. Now I'm getting into animation and an animation program is requiring me to install DirectX.
I did some cursory googling and saw an article that says there's been a debate about whether DX12 is an improvement on DX11, my questions is, which DX should I install?
My graphics card (according to device manager, I don't even know) is ATI Radeon HD 4300/4500 Series and this is 2D animation software, if it matters.
