Help with dual processors, please and thank you.

I recently bought a new laptop with a dual core amd turion RM-70. I'm almost positive right now one of them is stuck on the background programs while the other would be running a full screen game. Can anyone help me figure out how to set the processor so both parts would be on the game and not running background programs and whatnot.

Why you think one of them is stuck on the background programs? Are you have problem running your game or its slow while playing the game?

Now to actually answear your question. Not all software supports dual or quad core CPUs even if your OS does. If a game only supports a single core CPU then it will only use 1 core no matter how many you have in the computer. You can check in the games manual or the games website to see if it's multi CPU aware or not.
