help with exe file disinfection

Hi all, I need some kind of tool that lets me open a *.exe file and remove a trojan that AVG found in it (Trojan Horse Dropper)

I havent run the exe file yet because avg detected the trojan but I really need it.

any suggestions? is it difficult to do?

am not so sure what will happen to your exe becasue most trojans get deleted as far as i know, but try this

ah, thanks, but,, those look like programs to clean specific trojans from windows..

what I need is one that cleans a troyan within a file.. like a decompiler or something,, I dont have any programming or hacking skills so. .

AVG says it healed the 3 exe files but it just sends them to the virus vault and removes them from their original location,, it doesn't heal them I think.


Norton does not even see the trojan. (I tried scaning the files on a different pc)

What are the 3 exe files?

one of them is a setup,, a program installer
the other two I am not sure.

Where did you get the installer? Is it from a legal download?
