Help with First Build

Heres a list of parts(not including case), I was wondering if they will work.....

CPU: AMD PhenomII x6 1055T
Motherboard: GigaByte AMD 880G/SB850 FSB 5200
RAM: ADATA 2GB DDR3-1333 LONGDIMM -- *3

Power:CORSAIR CMPSU - 750TXUK 750W

Looks good to me, but have you considered 4 gigs of RAM? That is what most systems are being built with today.

Also, is 320 gigs enough room for you? It could be, I was just wanting to make sure.

They will work.

However, I suggest you reallocate the budget between rhe components.

Video card - 5550 is a low end video card. What are you using this machine for?

PSU + Video card - With only 5550, you won't need 750W PSU. Get a cheaper 500W - 600W ($60) and save some money. The $40 you are saving can go for a better video card

CPU + RAM - Phenom IIx 6 1055T is not necessary unless you use this machine for video editing. However, if you use it for video editing, 2 GB RAM is definately not enough. I recommend you get Phenom IIx4 955, and use the extra $40 to get another 2GB RAM.

HDD - Hitachi is not my personal favourite... I usually get WD/ Seagate

HIS HD 5770 IceQ 5 Turbo 1GB (128bit) GDDR5 PCIe

can i still get a cheaper PSU?

and for the RAM part, i was thinking of getting 3 of that 2GB

for the HDD, i have 3 different external HD's, 1TB, 500GB, 250GB, thats why i don't need that much, what about

Seagate ST3250318ASBOX

HIS HD 5770 IceQ 5 is good, where are you buying from? you would find 5770 starting from $130 at newegg

PSU - 500 - 600W would run single 5770 without problem.

RAM - sorry, I missed your *3. amd running dual channel not triple, so either 2 x 2GB or 4 x 2GB or 2 x 4GB

HDD - is it OEM or retail version? just get OEM, your motherboard come with cable
