Help with gb ram upgrading ..

    New here lol so I have this desktop , a gateway sk2800-01 to be exact with 4 fb ram .. has a 1333 mhz dd3 .. as you can notice I’m not a computer guy .. I found this hynix 64GB (2X 32GB) 4Rx4 DDR3 PC3L-10600R 1333MHZ MEMORY RAM .. would that work with my desktop ? Thanks in advance

    No as you can only max out at 8gb of ram for that model. 2x4gb sticks.

    like john said you are maxed at 8gb of ram.you can go with 8gb of 1600mhz ram tho.

    Dam •_• is there a way to get it to 32 gb ram ? Or I just need to go buy a new pc?

    Tbh I just want to run this program called nox which allows you to run app games in order to ‘farm’ . It will be solely for that purpose only . I have this pc sitting there so I figured maybe I could ‘beef it up a bit’ for that purpose

    I want to run 9-12 games at a time lol would a simple desktop like say a Dell T3600 with Intel Xeon E5-1650 3.20GHz & 64GB RAM work for that purpose ? Thank you for your help

    My friend had a pc and it had 16 gb ram and when I was over she was running 9 games at a time via the nox app . She’s currently on vacation till next year and I didn’t want to bother her with this lol she had told me the more gb ram the more games you can run

    No, the Dell t3600 is a workstation pc not a gaming pc.
