help with Geforce fx 5600 ....

hey guys i dont know if im in the right place ( sorry if im not )

i got a fx 5600 , everything is fine execpt the TV out ,

it just wont work , i never had a card with a S-Video with 7 pins i think , they all used to use 4 pin plug's anyway ive tried ......


New drivers ( older and newset ) Detonators also ,

trying card in diffent machine ,

Tested S-video lead on DVD player ( works fine on TV ),

doing all the " if your tv is connected and not being picked up ", setup's ,


i was told b4 that tv only works on 4pins plug's , now i got this card and it has a 7pin socket im abit confussed but i assume it will work due it being on the card .....


i think ive tried everything and nuffin comes out the TV not even a flicker .


any surgestions or help would be Very greatfull ,

Ps, by saying 7 pin i think its 7 , could be rong could be 6 , could be 8 ( alot more than 4 anyway )
 
cause its not S-Video its VIVO, you need an adapter.... the point of VIVO is so you can have signals in, then out via splitting.... look on Newegg, they should have either a VIVO to S-Video Adapter, or the actual peice for the I/O

im in the uk , is there anywhere i can get 1 in the uk so it wont have to be shipped across the pond :D


Also , i took the lead out it had 8 pins , is this normall ?
 
yeah but he said "TV-Out" now TV-in...So a card w/o VIVO should be able to display a monitor on TV. Have you gone into display properties, settings, advanced, and switching the little drawdown menue to TV?
 
yes i tried all the TV settings ... but nuffin comes out the Tv what so ever , :(


i also tried Many diffrent drivers ect
