Help with HDTV Monitor hookup

I have an ATI Radeon 9200 and I'm trying to hookup a new Sharp 15" Widescreen LCD HDTV Monitor. What connections do I use and what settings do I need to change in the computer? The tv has an HDMI and a VGA port. Do I need to upgrade my video card? I'm currently using an 8 yr old crt and hope that the new lcd will be an improvement.

You could simply use a VGA cord, then right click the desktop, properties, settings. I believe you can change the display to a television there, if it doesn't do it automatically. If not there in the driver control panel, I'm not familiar with the CCC so i'm no help there.
