So I bought a raidmax smilodon w/ 500w psu. During the install I ran into a problem. The power connecter for the cpu is a 8 pin atx connecter, and on the psu the only available power connecters are 6 pin and 4 pin. The 6 pin I found goes into the vga card so only one left is a 4 pin. With that plugged into the 8 pin connection the computer does not try to come on. With it unplugged everything (fans, hd, vga) comes on. I not sure if there is something I'm missing? Thanks for reading.
