Help with lot of memory taken up on new computer

I bought the ASUS 1015E-DS01 for basic personal use while at work.

I took off all the apps and there is no software loaded and the memory's used space is 32GB out of 119GB. Isn't this high with no programs loaded on the pc?

The computer runs slow. Can someone help me and direct me on what things to delete so the computer runs faster.

I am afraid of deleting the wrong files to where the computer wont start up correctly.

Windows 8 will take up at least 20 gb on a fresh install. After all updates, system restore usage and other things that is about normal. Another reason why its slow is you have a celeron processor and only 2gb of memory.
