help with mac

so im getting a mac book and have a 21 inch sony monitor thats pretty nice. i was wondering if there is a cable on newegg that will allow me to use the monitor with the macbook. also does anyone know if you can upgrade the cideo card of mac books? please help asap

well i never have dealt with a mac book so im going off what i think. If it is like the mini, it should come with a an adapter to allow you to connect to your moniter.

and for the most part. i doubt you can change out the video card

I believe mac laptops come with a DVI port. All you need is a DVI to VGA adapter and you should be good to go. Most likely the laptop will come with one but if not pick up one of these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814999201.

MacBook Pro comes with DVI port not MacBook.

MacBook comes with mini-DVI port. You need mini-DVI to DVI or mini-DVI to VGA adapter.
