I think the problem may be the size of the video card and the wattage of the psu

Personally, I'd say stick to the onboard, it isn't terrible. But if you find it isn't what you need, then you can upgrade.
But very nice I might say.

And 300 watts is great for that setup with out the vid card

well on the manufacturers website it said 450w but that seems ridiculous
