Help with monitor/tv

Hey there, new here but this forum looks great and figured id ask my question here since I didnt know where to ask it.

Im looking at getting a 32" LCD flatscreen TV. Id like to be able to switch back and forth ( easily would be nice ) between tv and computer if this is possiable.

What would I need to do this? My computer isnt exactly top notch nor up to date in software. Would the tv be high quality? would the computer be high quality? Any other info you need on my pc, let me know.

Well, you would connect the computer to the TV with a different connection than your cable box or DVD player, so switching between the two should be as easy as hitting the input button on your remote. Most bigger TVs have DVI and/or VGA input, which is what you use to connect your computer to your monitor, so you should be able to use the same cables you have now.
