I'm wondering if I can set this build up with no problem this is my first build and I know most things to hook up but don't know much about the new mobo', gfx cards, etc. Here is what I'm looking at from Newegg any recommendations would be nice!

The only thing I'm not sure of is if the tower will hold the MoBo as I've never built one before, the reviews for the tower say that it can hold a big MoBo and have room for extra fans (I'll probably buy at least 2 extra along with the 2 it comes with).

This build is roughly 1250 which is just right for me. If anyone could take the time just see if the components will work together I would appreciate it. Also, if a part is shipped DoA will newegg replace it free with shipping?

You should change the psu to something like this corsair.

If a product arrives defective, usually you have to pay shipping back to them and then they send a new part with free shipping. Unless you complain to the right person and then they will send you a prepaid ups shipping tag.

Do you already have an operating system to install on this machine?

No, I actually forgot to mention getting Win 7 64bit home premium. Should I go with newegg or should I just get the items shipped to my local best buy, I just don't want to buy everything and have some parts DoA and have to wait to ship it back out and have to pay for it.

I have built many systems from Newegg and I've only had to ship back like 3 things to them. What I usually do is if something comes in damaged or doa I return it and go somewhere else for that part, unless I really need that specific item and newegg only carries it.

as far as the build goes, are all the parts compatiable? I'm thinking about switching the gfx to gtx 560 ti, the one in the link is a pci express 2.1 x16, that won't fit the MoBo will it?

They are all compatible together. You don't need to have a 2.0 graphics card. Any pci express video card will work in that mobo.

I would definately change the power supply though.

I just want to get a fairly new card that will last a while

I've only had to send 1 thing back to newegg, I followed the return instructions and they sent me an RMA # in which I did not have to pay for the shipping.

thanks for the help guys, I ordered the parts. I have a few more quick questions about building.

Should I grab a wrist static strap?

Should I put the processor, ram and gfx card in before installing the mobo?

Where do I locate all the plugins for the MoBo to the power supply and cd drive, I know what the fan ports look like.

How do I tell which slot to put the gfx card in?

Sorry for the extremely noob questions but this is my first ever build and first ever gaming computer.

A wrist strap isn't really necessary as you can just touch any metal part of the case to discharge yourself. I don't even do that and haven't damaged any parts.

It's usually easier to install the mobo first and then everything else, as sometimes the graphics card may cover a mobo screw.

Put the video card in the top slot closest to the cpu.

Are you talking about cable management or how to hook up everything? All the hookups are pretty self explanatory.

Yea, basically the hook ups like hooking the HD to the mobo then to the HD and hooking the all the psu cables to everything but im guessing they are labeled?

They aren't really labeled, just self explanatory on where they go. You will have molex connectors, sata connectors, 24 pin main connector, 4 or 8 pin cpu power connector, 6 pin pci express power connector for video card, possibly a floppy drive power connector.
