Help with noisy fan and a few questions please

Hello,

I'm new here so please bear with me. I just put together my first computer and I've came upon a few problems. First of all, is my CPU fan supposed to be so loud? It sounds like a small window fan or something, 2-3 times louder then any computer I've ever heard, although the fan on this thing is 2-3 times bigger as well LOL. It also doesn't seem to slow down ever, it stays at one speed and then as system resources are being used it will increase in speed and noise, is this normal? My second inquiry is in regards to computer temperature. What are some good computer temperature ranges? And my last question, did I set up a good computer system that will last me for a few years down the road? Below you will find all my system specs. Idle:
CPU = 43C (109F)
Zone 1 = 33C (91F)
Zone 2 = 33C(91F)

70% Load:
CPU = 58C (136F)
Zone 1 = 38C (100F)
Zone 2 = 38C(100F)

Processor Fan Speed = 3800-4000 RPM

WOW those are hot temps! yes its suppose to be that loud, you can connect it to a fan controler to turn speed up/down. 58* load? i have my bios set to shut my pc off if i even hit 50 ever. I have 26-30* idle and 33-36 load. and I dont have liquid cooling or anything, not to mention cpu voltage is 1.58.

something is wrong
1) where are you reading your temps from case/bios/program?
2) what kind of heat sink do you have over the cpu?
3) did you apply thermal greeze, if so was it AS5?

Something is wrong with those temps. fix that first. My mobo (Abit) came with something called abit eq. I can control the fan speeds and how they react with high and low temps. You should get something called motherboard monitor. I believe you can do the same thing with the fan speed. But I have never used it b4. Typed quick sry for errors.

WOW those are hot temps!

The chips are rated to like 72C.....


Theres nothing horribly surprsing about those temps. Higher than one might like but certainly not omg-high.b
