Help with Nvidia geforce 9800m gts 1gb

My graphics card keep acting up when i watch videos and play games sometimes the screen will just go black and i have to restart my pc. My pc is a gatway fx p-7805u notebook if anyone could help me or tell me a new card i should get.

Sounds like overheating to me.

Check how hot it is using something like SensorView or PC WIzard from my sig.

Ensure you have the latest drivers and updates.

The GFX is about 72c CPU is 98c.
Do you no if my graphics card is built in to my motherboard ?

I would suggest buying a cooler of some sort and try to cool it down a bit.

i have one from bestbuy it has two fans on it and its still not working like it should. Can anyone tell me a good graphics card i could get for it?

Try using your notebook on a wooden table,avoid surfaces like bed and lap.
Also a cooler would help and it time for re-application of thermal paste and cleaning up of laptop.
If the notebook is still under warranty consult their support and ask them for a TIM re-application and if it is not then get it done from a good notebook repair shop.

Download the latest drivers (look at my sig for laptop drivers) because that can improve matters. (make a system restore first)

Then use something like ntune to max the fan.
