Help with OverClocking.

Like above, that's to hot even for a stock cooler. Try to reapply the compound. Do you still just have the front and back fan in that case? Put a side intake and top exhaust fan. Well help you temps a lot.

I was reaching lower-mid 60's with stock clocks and cooler. Those temps aren't totally unrealistic for the stock cooler.

Why did you have UCC enabled with a 955? There is no cores to unlock on a 955.
I think it's a factory setting (haven't touched anything in BIOS before this).

i have one 120mm fan on the side, and a 180/200mm (don't remember) on the top! (side intake top exhaust, yup!).

i don't have any cooling paste atm. but gonna see if imma buy some and clean out the cooler at same time!

Get a tube of Arctic Silver 5 or other high quality paste, will make a difference of several degrees.

Well, thermal paste can make so much difference. I used some of a unknown brand and after some time I realized that the temps got worse so I took it off. The thermal paste was getting hard and there was some dry paste on the middle of the cpu -.-
