I just got a nice pair of Corsair 2x1G TWINX2048-PC3200 C2 XMS. According to CPUz the timings are;

CAS: 3
RAS to CAS: 3
RAS Precharge: 3
Tras: 8
Trc: 11
Idle Timer: 16

According to Corsair, the there's two kits that have different timings: 2-3-3-6 (C2) and at the bottom of this, there's another pair that has 3-3-3-8

Here's what I ordered: From tiger direct

Did I get the wrong memory? Or am I suppose to set the timmings myself?

EDIT: I just checked BIOS, it only says that the timmings are set to AUTO.

how do you set the timings manually? i cant find it in my BIOS. I dont want to hijack this thread, so dont answer me if its not the correct thing to do.

Some motherboards dont support manually setting your own timings. It can be anywhere depending on the BIOS version, just have to look around. Look for "CAS" or "DRAM Timings" or similiar.

Don't worry, I don't mind. For my ASUS I went in Advance -> Chipset config -> DRAM Config. Or you can check your mobo manuel.

Good day all.
