Help with sata cables!

I'm going to get a sata dvd burner. do they use the same standard cable that sata hdd's do?
This is my first build with sata so i'm a newb at it...

Make sure you buy SATA cables that are long enough to reach your DVD/CD drives....nothing worst than realizing a cable is not quiet long enough when you are trying to get your system going.

Why don't you buy the elastic ones then?

you might want to get the ones that are 90 deg on one end also so they run straight down from the back of the drive instead of sticking straight out.
