My monitor is a dell 22" 1680x1050. If i set my resolution to 1680x1050 everything looks sharper and more clear but everything is so small on the screen. The desktop icons and all words are so small its hard for me to read them. Is there a way to make everthing a little larger. The only way I can do it is to change the resolution to 1280x720. This makes the graphics worse but everything is large enough to read. My graphics card is a ati 4650.

Well if you're running windows 7 then you can just right click your desktop and go to the screen resolution window. At the bottom of that there's a link to make text and other items larger. Older versions of windows have similar functions as well.
