Help with Screen Solution black screen

hello, how would I fix this. When Screen Resloution is 800 by 600, and when I switch to 2048x1536 and my montior went black screen. I reboot 2 times and 2 times in safe mode... nothing happen, what else should I do?

The solution is pretty simple: don't select it that high. Use a smaller resolution, why would you need one that high? I have 1280x1024 right now and it's pretty good on my 19" monitor
