im using command prompt to log off other users or shut them down but on some users it says access denied what can i do to fix this, do i have to have and im on a network that has many users im using the shutdown -i command please help thank you.

another method of logging off other users is
1. Windows Task Manager
2. Users -> choose the user you want to log off
3. Log Off

..but the command prompt method and the WTM method MIGHT be blocked by the administrator. It could also be the fact that the 'other user' has a password protected account..

i'm not sure about these, but they're probably the most logical reasons..:P

Correct me if im wrong, But that wont shut them down.

Can you remote into each computer?

If so,

Right Click Taskbar
Task Manager
Shutdown Tab
Choose what you want too do.
