Help with some things for a new computer

OK ive got down pretty much all the parts i need for my new computer i just need a help with a few brands to go with etc. ive worked out the general idea of how much this will cost me, 1400-1500AUD. I am a gamer but i dont currently play any high end games atm. So this is wot ive decided to get

Motherboard: Gigabyte ex58 ud3r - i know this motherboard supports crossfire but it doesnt do it on the 16x / 4x thing i read about in some posts before?
CPU : i7 920
Ram : 6GB Kit DDR3 1600 Patriot-Gaming
Graphics : ati 5770 - now my problem here is wot brand? im going to buy this computer from a store and the brands it offers are HIS, powercolor, gigabyte and ASUS. I was thinking of going with the gigabyte one. And i do plan to run crossfire sumtime later down the track
DVD - sony dvd burner
PSU - Ok im not too sure wot wattage ill need especially when i plan to have crossfire so for that i was thinking a corsair tx650 or should i go 750?
case: thermaltake V9
hdd - 1tb seagate sata

Any help with the stuff i mention is greatly appreciated.

P.S. happy chinese new yr to anyone celebrating
 
the gigabyte site says the mobo i chose supports triple channel memory so i thought i could put in 3 x 2 gig ram cards.

also regarding the video cards, wots a reference design?i will definately ask about the warrenty though
 
so is a reference design card better than a non reference design card? or does it just depend on the brands?
