So I came home from work tonight, went to turn on the desktop, and it powered up with no display, and it did not post, then it turned itself off after about five seconds, then it turned itself on, and off, until i finally turned off the power supply, I changed the cmos battery, tried swapping the video card with an old one, still no display, I pulled all the RAM and tried one stick at a time in different slots, also did not help. I am lost! please help!

I'd love to be able to check that, but I can't even get the machine to post, so I'm not getting anywhere near windows. I'm thinking its the MB but I'm just not sure.

so if you cannot go to the bios it's for sure hardware issue...
if you can... you can try to unplug all the drives and cards... and leave only the video card and the monitor plugged in. you should get error with keyboard... then you try also with the keyboard...
if also without anything you cannot start the PC so it's like to be a hardware issue... or maybe something wrong in the bios and if the bios is not working, well... it's possible to repair somehow, but I don't know how much it will cost to you...
try what I suggested and let me know

I tried it both with and without keyboard, unplugged all DVD drives, when I unplugged the floppy drive and booted up the CPU fan stopped working. It seems to be a MB issue but I hate to drop the cash on it and be wrong.

you can test with another one... you need somebody to give you one working for a hour and u try...

or maybe in some shop they will try for you

I pulled my psu and took it to geek squad when I got there the psu wouldn't even power up, I tried again at home and no power. I guess that's the answer. Thanks to all who replied, any psu recomendations?

Budget? You have a pretty decent psu there, and if im not mistaken it has a 3 year warranty, i personally would just rma it...

Thanks for the info, I'd forgotten the warranty was 3 years, and I have had mine for just over 2. Ticket opened with OCZ. Thanks!
